iCloud Fulfills Its Promise in Mountain Lion




Several updates to iCloud, Apple’s cloud computing solution, were announced during the Worldwide Developers Conference Monday, including Documents in the iCloud, Safari iCloud Tabs and Messages.

iCloud was the first of eight features of the Mountain Lion Operating System highlighted onstage at WWDC.

Support for iCloud, which now has 125 million registered users, is built into Mountain Lion OS X, meaning when you sign into your Apple account, your apps and content will be configured across devices.

Three new apps — Messages, Notes and Reminders — were introduced, which will all help iCloud become your go-to destination for all things to-do.
